Yoga for Well-Being and Mindful Living
Yoga for Well-Being and Mindful Living is a community-based yoga program offered in Persian (Farsi) that supports physical, mental, and emotional well-being through mindful movement, breathwork, and relaxation practices.
The program is open to adults and youth of all experience levels, with no prior yoga experience required.

Meet the Founder
Dr. Maya Mahshid Rad-Spice
Dr. Maya is a multi-disciplinary researcher, senior program, policy analyst, and community-engaged practitioner working at the intersection of health, education, and community well-being. Her Phd and postdoctoral work spans multidisciplinary fields including biochemistry, biosystems engineering, gastrointestinal health, environmental studies, and economic development, and has evolved into interdisciplinary and community-driven approaches grounded in relationships, land, and lived experience.
